PRIVACY POLICY

The short version

WIZMA collects very little. We don't ask for your name, address, or anything financial — there's no checkout here, so there's nothing to bill. The only data that hits our side is anonymous traffic info (which page loaded, roughly which country, what browser) plus whatever you choose to type into a contact email if you reach out.

What gets stored on your device

The age confirmation and your cookie preference both live in your browser's local storage. They don't travel back to us. If you clear your browser data, both reset, and the age check appears again on the next visit. That's intentional — we'd rather over-ask than skip the gate.

Analytics, briefly

We run a privacy-leaning analytics tool that strips IP addresses before logging anything. It tells us things like "this page is slow on Android" or "nobody scrolls past the third section on the FAQ" — useful for fixing the site, useless for identifying anyone in particular.

How long we keep things

Server logs roll over after 30 days. Aggregated analytics are retained for 14 months and then collapsed into yearly summaries with no per-visit granularity. Nothing about you should still be identifiable in our systems past that point.

Email

If you write to [email protected], we keep that thread until the conversation is finished, then archive it for a year in case you come back with a follow-up. After that it gets deleted in our quarterly cleanup. We don't share email contents with anyone outside our small team.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Ask what we have on you — we'll usually reply within a week
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Object to processing, or ask us to limit it
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if we mess up

Send any of these requests to the same email above with "Privacy" in the subject. Plain English is fine — no legal templates needed.

We don't sell data. We don't run ad networks. There isn't a tracking pixel chain behind the page. If that ever changes, this document changes first.
