COOKIES POLICY

What we put on your device

Two small things, plus whatever third-party tools we've allowed in. The first is a record that you've passed the age gate, so you don't get hit with the same modal every page load. The second is your cookie preference — accept all, or reject all. Both are stored in your browser's local storage area, not as classic HTTP cookies, but the GDPR rules treat them the same way and so do we.

Categories at a glance

Strictly necessary

The age confirmation and the cookie choice itself fall here. Without these the site can't function the way it's supposed to — you'd see the modal forever or be re-prompted on every navigation. We don't ask consent for these because there's no meaningful version of WIZMA without them.

Analytics (optional)

We use a single, EU-hosted analytics provider that aggregates page views and rough device stats. IP addresses are truncated before we ever see them. If you click "Reject all" in the cookie banner, this category never loads for you.

Marketing

We don't run any. There's nothing to sell. So this category exists in the policy for completeness only — it's empty, and if that ever changes, we'll tell you here first and re-prompt for consent.

Changing your mind

You can clear your browser's site data for WIZMA at any time, which wipes both the age confirmation and the cookie choice. Next page load, the banner appears again and you can pick differently. Most browsers tuck this option under Settings → Privacy → Site Data.

If you're using a corporate or school network, your administrator may also enforce policies on top of ours — those override what you set here, and we have no visibility into them.

If you'd rather not deal with any of this, the simplest path is private/incognito mode. Nothing persists past the tab.

Third-party links

Pages on WIZMA sometimes link out — to GamCare, BeGambleAware, the like. Those sites set their own cookies according to their own policies. Read theirs separately if you click through.
